Should You Include Examples Of Grading Rubrics For Essay Papers? One question that is asked most often when it comes to grading essays is whether or not the answers to essays is determined by the number of examples in the samples of grading rubrics for essay papers. Some argue that the number of examples in the samples is a good thing, others argue that it should be eliminated as a way of controlling and having control over the student's essays. Which do you think is right?Essays are written for a variety of reasons. Students may be writing their first essay for a class or they may be returning to college and have made it through high school already. They may be completing an assignment to earn credit towards a degree, or they may be an individual who is learning about the world through writing their own opinion and experiences. Whatever the reason is for why the essay is being written, they will always need to come to the best conclusion possible through the content and how the essay s are being used. The methods which are used to evaluate the use of essay examples are not always clear to many students who are looking at this process. With more emphasis on essays being used as a means of gaining credit towards a degree, as well as being used to help students write and edit their own work, it becomes clear that the number of examples should be eliminated from this aspect of evaluation. A student who is trying to write an essay can find it confusing to know how many examples they should include in their essay when they are using samples of grading rubrics for essay papers. In order to avoid confusion, there are ways to work around it.The most common approach to solve this problem is to use only one sample in an essay. Even if the examples are not used to determine the overall quality of the essay, it is still best to include them in the body of the essay. In doing so, it gives the student the same effect as including several samples throughout the body of the essay .By doing this, it takes away the need to count the number of examples in the body of the essay and will give the student a better sense of understanding the essay as a whole. Because the focus remains on the quality of the content, rather than the number of examples included, the student will be able to read the essay more easily, and they will also have a better idea of the overall quality of the writing. The simplest way to avoid counting the number of examples is to use a basic example. Using a basic example is much like the sample; it allows the student to relate the content to an experience, which will not seem foreign to them. By using a basic example, it gives the student a sense of familiarity with the content and the fact that the content itself is not too difficult to understand. With this knowledge, the student can relate their feelings to the content and be able to place their thoughts in writing.Writing a paper or essay is much different than writing an article. When wr iting an essay, the writing should be thought out. This can be a challenging task, especially when the essay is to be graded and evaluated, but when a student has used examples of grading rubrics for essay papers, it will become much easier for them to be able to tackle the writing of the essay. It is not necessary to have too many examples in the body of the essay, but it does not hurt to use them.
